Fritz Lorenz-Kurzhals, Tägerwilen

Each year, the Lorenz family's farm delivers 30 tons of juice carrots for the production of Biotta's legendary Carrot Juice.  They've been part of the family of loyal suppliers for around 50 years.  In addition to carrots, Lorenz also grows broccoli, kohlrabi, a variety of cabbages and lettuces, onions and tomatoes - all in premium Bio-Knosp quality.  A good number of heatable greenhouses, home to the less cold-resistant vegetables, can also be found on the farm's 10 hectares.  Lorenz, an accredited Master Vegetable Gardener, is assisted  by five full-time and 3 part-time employees.  Two apprentice Vegetable Gardeners are also employed and trained by Lorenz.  Great care is not only taken in the cultivation of organic vegetables, but also in the production of fertile compost dirt.
