Dieter and Irmgard Schächtle’s farm has been in existence since 1891. For over 30 years, Dieter Schächtle’s farm has been purely organic, with 10 hectares outside and 8 ares in green houses. In the fertile soil of a former marsh, Schächtle raises a wealth of different vegetables from radishes to kohlrabi, lamb’s lettuce to leek. His crisp, juicy carrots, rich beet roots and celeriac are pressed into the Biotta juices of the same names. Both Dieter and Irmgard Schächtle received their degrees in agriculture from BioFresh AG, formerly Biotta.
